Radish Pink: Microgreens are crunchy and full of flavours around day 6. Once they grow larger, they loose their texture and flavour. They make a great addition to any salad, sandwich or garnish and contain 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than their mature counterparts.10
Carrot (Orange): Subtly sweet and nutty in flavour and will add zest to your meals in addition to a whole lot of vitamins. May take more time than other microgreens to germinate i.e. 6-7 days but once ready they will be a great garnish loaded with beta-carotene, vitamin A, vitamin C, Calcium and Iron.
Onion Microgreens: never make you cry – even if you chop them! Once germination occurs – keep the container/pot moist by watering gently or misting with a spray bottle every day or three. The deeper your container/pot, the less you need to water. They will show microscopic roots starting on day 2 or 3 or 4.
Green Cabbage: are nutritional powerhouse, loaded with vitamins A, C, K, and E, along with essential minerals like calcium & iron.
